Creature Feature

Join us for this exciting new program that explores the animals that call the Chattahoochee Watershed home. Each month focuses on a new animal and a new feature of life within our unique forests, wetlands, and waterways. Animal presentation and hands-on activities engage kids of all ages to learn about all the different aspects of a watershed. Check out our calendar below to find the monthly topic!

Learn to build your own Fall Decorative Container Garden with our expert, Eve Neumeister!  These containers are excellent for adding splashes of color to your winter landscape and are edible, too!  We will use a mixture of cold-hardy vegetables, herbs, and ornamentals and learn special cold conditions tips for fertilizing, watering, and choosing containers. 
Demonstration is free with paid admission.
Do you want to build your own container to take home?  Bring a container from home and $7.00 to cover soil, amendments, and plants.  Participants must be able to lift and carry their own container after planting.
