Camp Kingfisher's LIT program provides a unique opportunity for young people entering grades 10, 11 and 12. This experience is a great addition to college and job applications.
An $80 fee per session covers professional leadership and naturalist training, regular supervision, evaluations, a Camp Kingfisher t-shirt and Personal Flotation Device. Participants may register for one or both sessions. A mandatory orientation and training will be held before the start of each session.
2010 LIT Session Dates & Hours:
- Session 1, June 1 - June 25 (there is no camp on Memorial Day, May 31st)
- Session 2, July 6 - July 30 (there is no camp on July 5th)
- Hours: Monday – Friday 9:00am – 4:00pm
Camp is open from 8:00am – 6:15pm and participants are welcome during those hours
Once you are accepted into the program the mandatory training will take place at the Chattahoochee Nature Center on Friday May 28th from 10:00am – 2:00pm.
