Our Wildlife Department is licensed to accept only reptiles, amphibians and birds of prey. Please call 770-992-2055 x239 before bringing in an injured animal. Please note that we are not able to pick up animals from your location. Rehabilitators cannot charge for their services, nor is there any county, state, or Federal funding to offset rehabilitation costs. Therefore, donations are always appreciated. For the safety of the animals, the Wildlife Department is not open for viewing by the public.
The Nature Center is not licensed to accept songbirds, mammals or exotic animals into our rehabilitation program. For information on where to take other injured animals, please visit the Georgia Department of Natural Resources website at georgiawildlife.com and click on the left side of the page for “Find a Licensed Rehabilitator.”
The Wildlife Department accepts animals: Monday - Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. and on Sundays from noon- 4:00 p.m.
