OR sign up for the Scout E-news to have the dates sent to you! Email scouts@chattnaturecenter.org and specify if you would like to receive Girl Scouts, Cub/Boy Scouts, or both! Updates are sent 4-6 times a year.
Activities Include:
Bears:
- Bears will earn their Space Elective 1 and Astronomy Belt Loop (requirements listed in Bear Handbook)
- Night hike on the grounds of CNC with fun night-time activities
- Live nocturnal animal presentation
- Campfire with s'mores, songs, and stories
- Night sky adventures in our inflatable planetarium, STARLAB
- Morning hike and tour of aviaries
- Snacks in the evening and continental breakfast in the morning
Webelos:
- Webelos will earn their Outdoorsman Badge (requirements listed in Webelos handbook)
- Tent camping on the meadow (you must provide your own tent)
- Knot tying
- Night hike on the grounds of CNC with fun night-time activities
- Live nocturnal animal presentation
- Campfire with s'mores, songs, and stories
- Morning hike and tour of aviaries
- Snacks in the evening and continental breakfast in the morning
Times and Cost:
- 6:45 PM Saturday Evening - 10 AM Sunday Morning
- $35 per scout, $25 per adult. Maximum number of Bears and Webelos is 40, including adults.
(Please note that this is not a family campout and that siblings are only allowed in extenuating circumstances. All siblings must be approved by the Scout Coordinator.)
