The Captain Planet Foundation is teaming up again with the Chattahoochee Nature Center for the 8th Annual Earth Day Kids Fest! This event is a unique and exciting hands-on, environmental education experience where youth are encouraged to take the first steps in becoming environmental stewards. Through engaging activities and performances, kids are energized with empowering information, allowing them to lead the way in preserving and protecting our biological diversity and natural resources.

Special Music Performances by:Billy Jonas

Billy Jonas
Performances at 11:00 AM and 1:15 PM

In singalongs, bangalongs, whisperalongs, as well as improvised songs, Billy’s primary instrument is the audience!

Join in on the fun with a simple "tuning" of the audience; from there a whimsical trajectory carries listeners through stories of life, love, and triumph over 'Murphy's Law.' Jonas' original pieces are played on fanciful "industrial re-percussion" instruments made from found objects. Billy is a favorite at outdoor festivals and his award-winning CDs are a must-have for every family!

Ford Elementary
Ford Elementary students will showcase a sample of their original Eco-Production entitled “Seeds of Hope” at 10:20 AM!
