Homeschool Monday
Select Mondays September – May
12:30pm- 3pm
Included with general admission. CNC members free.
All ages- No registration required
Join us for exciting science and nature programs planned just for homeschooling students. A perfect addition to your ecology, biology and geology curriculum, Homeschool Mondays are a great way to get hands-on science and nature lessons, receive help on projects and research and network with other homeschooling families.

- From 12:30-1pm, bring your lunch and enjoy an interactive nature program.
- Afterwards, head to the Nature Exchange to take part in the science experiment of the month!
- Past topics have included Spooky Nature, Backyard Biology and the Science of Children’s Literature.
Group Programs
Get your homeschool group outside and learning! All of our Georgia GPS based science and nature programs can be adapted for your homeschool group! Onsite programs include a guided hike lead by a CNC staff naturalist, hands-on learning activities, an up-close animal encounter and a visit to our new Discovery Center. Educational Materials Discount
Continue the nature lessons at home. Visit our Nature Store for biology and ecology based reading materials, science kits and other teaching tools. Homeschooling parents/adults receive a 10% educator discount during Homeschool Mondays.
