We’re Gold
In October 2010, The Discovery Center was certified a Gold LEED (Leadership in Energy Efficient Design) building. Over 200 environmentally efficient and friendly practices and materials went into the construction of this
unique building. The result is a building that used less energy while being constructed and currently operates with a lower long term impact on the environment.
