Girl Scout Overnights
Brownie Overnight – January 26-27 OR February 2-3 – FULL!
Junior Overnight – February 23-24 – FULL!
The next overnights will be in November 2013 – check back in summer for dates!

Want to know about Overnight dates even faster? Email: scouts@chattnaturecenter.org and specify if you would like to receive Girl Scouts, Cub/Boy Scouts, or both! Updates are sent 4-6 times a year.
Brownies:
- Will earn their Hiker Badge (description here; requirements listed in the Brownie Handbook)
- Night hike on the grounds of CNC with fun, night-time activities
- Live nocturnal animal presentation
- Campfire with s’mores, songs, and stories
- Morning activity/badge requirement
- Snacks in the evening and continental breakfast in the morning
Juniors:
- Will earn their Camper Badge (description here; requirements listed in the Junior Handbook)
- Night sky adventures in our inflatable planetarium, STARLAB
- Night hike on the grounds of CNC with fun, night-time activities
- Live nocturnal animal presentation
- Campfire with s’mores, songs, and stories
- Morning activity/badge requirement
- Snacks in the evening and continental breakfast in the morning
Times and Cost:
- 6:45 PM Saturday Evening – 10 AM Sunday Morning
- $35 per scout with one adult free for every 5 scouts; additional adults are $25 each.
- Maximum number of Brownies or Juniors is 40 scouts per evening.
Registration Process for Girl Scouts
The registration process for overnights is a lottery. To register, call or email between 9am on the first day of registration listed above and 4pm on the last day of registration. Please have your name, troop number, number of scouts and adults participating, and contact information ready (email and phone number). You will receive a number. Numbers will be drawn on the Thursday after registration ends to fill the overnight spaces. If you are selected, you will be contacted to give more information and to collect the deposit. If you are not selected, you will receive an e-mail from CNC the following day. Registration is for Troops only, no individuals.
