What better way to wrap-up the weekend, then an evening under the stars listening to live music with friends.  Live music fills the stage the 2nd Sunday from May – September.  Whether it’s a girl night, date night, or a you night, nature will provide the perfect backdrop for the evening. Sundays on the River Concert featuring Carol Albert

Enjoy a night out with families and friends and listen to the smooth jazz sounds of Carol Albert.   This is the perfect way to wrap-up the weekend with family and friends at an outdoor concert at the Ben Brady Lakeside Pavilion.  Opening act Cadyn Lexa, the Velvet Note jazz club’s youngest act to have a sold out show, will thrill you with jazz-infused sound.  All Ages;

Headliner: Billboard Smooth Jazz Artist Carol Albert will be Performing Selections from her New Album including current Smooth Jazz hits “Mas Que Nada” and “On My Way” with her band.  Keyboardist and Vocalist Carol Albert, an Atlanta native that has been featured on WCLK, SIRIUSXMWatercolors and National Smooth Jazz Radio Stations Worldwide. The Upbeat Smooth Jazz promises to leave audiences entertained.

Opening Act: Cadyn Lexa is an 11-year-old pop, rock, & soul singer/songwriter from Atlanta, Georgia.  With a voice well-beyond her years, she has been performing professionally since she was 8 years old.  In her short career, she has been the headline act at numerous venues around Atlanta, including headlining a sold-out show at the renowned Velvet Note jazz club – the youngest headliner in the club’s history.  She has also performed at various charitable events and showcase gigs around town including being the featured performer at the Student Television Network 2016 National Convention, and singing the National Anthem at an Atlanta Braves baseball game at Turner Field.  Cadyn also writes original compositions with her family and friends that she can’t wait to perform, so please come join us for history in the making as Cadyn makes her debut on the Chattahoochee Nature Center stage!

Enjoy a night out with families and friends and listen to the smooth jazz sounds of Bob Bakert and his six piece band.  This is the perfect way to wrap-up the weekend with family and friends at an outdoor concert at the Ben Brady Lakeside Pavilion.  Opening act The Cottrell’s, a husband and wife super jazz duo.  All Ages;

Headliner:  Bob Bakert will bring a six piece all-star cast of some of Atlanta’s favorite and finest musicians to our stage.  This year look for a high energy show including songs from Sting, Stevie Wonder, Van Morrison, Buffalo Springfield, and even some favorites from the American Songbook.  Hits you know with a very fresh feel and energy.Marla Feeney (Bonaventure Quartet) on Sax/Violin/Vocals, Dustin Cottrell (Yacht Rock Schooner) – piano/vocals, Mark Letalian (Sweetwater Junction and AQR – Drums, Chris Riggenbach (Emory/Ga State/Oglethorpe) – Bass and, added to the show this year will be former India Arie drummer Emrah Kotan bringing a world of percussion

Opening Act: The Cottrells are Adrienne and Dustin Cottrell.  They’re a husband and wife team, which have been making music for more than 10 years. They perform frequently throughout the Southeast, and are quickly becoming known as a talented up and coming acoustic folk-duo.  “Like many of the troubadours before them, this duo breaks down barriers with honesty, intelligence and wit, all wrapped in tremendous melodies and supple arrangements.” (Wildy Haskell, 2009 album review)

Enjoy a night out with families and friends and listen to the American jazz sounds of Gwen Hughes & “Grit Hits!” This is the perfect way to wrap-up the weekend with family and friends at an outdoor concert at the Ben Brady Lakeside Pavilion.  When it comes to the history of American popular music, all roads lead Down South.  Gwen & The Native Land Band put your favorite hit records in an exhilarating, funky setting that will make you dance and sing along.  All Ages;

Headliner:  Gwen Hughes brings from the birth of the blues in Mississippi…to the birth of jazz in New Orleans…country music in Virginia…the funk of Georgia…and the Southern rock of Florida…it all comes back to The South.  In between songs, Gwen leads the audience on a freewheeling & fun history lesson of why The South is such a breeding ground for iconic recording artists. Why is it that Elvis, Tina Turner, Johnny Mercer, Hank Williams, Louis Armstrong – plus dozens of other legends – come out of a primarily rural, agricultural region? All regions of the USA have great music, but no region has racked up quite as many gold records from so many diverse genres as The South.
