The Unity Garden welcomes volunteers, either as individuals or groups. It is not necessary to have any previous gardening experience. The garden provides and opportunity to learn while helping others.

Tasks

Here’s a sample of what you might be doing during a visit to the Unity Garden. Garden jobs change with the season, as well as by week. Our priority is always focused on food production – so harvesting and replanting are common jobs.

Soil preparation, Fertilizing, Planting, Mulching, Composting, Harvesting, Weeding, Maintaining, Watering, Seeding, Transplanting, Pruning, Trellising, Chipping, Digging.
