Thank you for your interest in canoeing with CNC!

Please read below for important information about the 2021 Canoe Season.

COVID-19 Canoe Program Information

>>Guidelines: CNC will be following CDC and Georgia Department of Health guidelines to offer trips to the public.

>>Group Size: Canoe trips sizes are temporarily reduced to allow for a smaller gathering.

>>Book Ahead: Please plan ahead and book your trip online in advance due to our limited trip sizes.

>>Social Distancing & Personal Protection: CNC staff are required to wear a mask while on land. Participants are encouraged to wear a mask while on land as well, but are not required to do so. Participants and staff do not wear masks while on water for safety purposes. We have also modified our trip flow to allow for best opportunities for social distancing while on land.

>>Enhanced Cleaning: We have greatly enhanced our cleaning practices and will be cleaning high-touch surfaces, as well as cleaning all shared equipment before and after each use.

2021 River Canoe Trip Important Information

PLEASE NOTE: The meeting location for CNC’s River Canoe Trips has changed for the 2021 season. Family Canoe Day programs WILL still occur at Chattahoochee Nature Center.

CNC RIVER Canoe Trips WILL NOT meet at the Chattahoochee Nature Center.

Participants will meet their guides at Don White Memorial Park 925-B Riverside Road. CNC is partnering with Nantahala Outdoor Center to be able to offer river canoe trips while CNC’s boardwalk is renovated.

The location at Don White Park requires that canoes be launched from a dock, which may pose a physical challenge for some. Please note some of the physical requirements for participating in CNC River Canoe Trips by viewing two views: Entering Canoe off Dock and Exiting Canoe onto Dock.
