If you would like to renew your membership at a different level online, you must select the NEW button above your desired level. If you have a current membership and would like to upgrade your membership, you can also call the Membership Office and we can help you make that change. Sorry, we do not offer downgrades on current memberships (ex: changing from Family Plus to Family).

Yes! Gift memberships are available at all levels and can be purchased in person at the Visitor Services Desk or by phone through the Membership Office at (770) 992-2055 ext 225.

The Chattahoochee Nature Center is fun in rain or shine. If weather or other circumstances cause you to change your visit date, we are happy to assist you. However, we do not issue refunds less than five business days before your reservation date. No part of the deposit is refundable.

Should unusual events cause the Chattahoochee Nature Center to close, we will notify you and reschedule your visit or refund your group admission including deposit.

For a CNC membership, a child is anyone eighteen years and under.

Add-on memberships are available for Family level memberships and higher. Add-on memberships are only for adding additional children to a membership, and are $15 each additional child.

Your Welcome Packet will be mailed to you within 3-4 weeks. If you did not receive membership cards at the time of purchase, they will be included in your packet. If you renew your membership at the same level, your current cards will automatically reactivate.

Yes! CNC is a member of the Association of Nature Center Administrators (ANCA) which offers reciprocal discounted or free admissions and other benefits for CNC members.

Guest passes can be used for general admission on regular operating days (excludes Flying Colors Butterfly Festival and Halloween Hikes.) Members with a Premium level membership may bring one guest for free on each visit during regular operating days (excludes Flying Colors Butterfly Festival and Halloween Hikes.) Guest must accompany member for free general admission.

Guest passes are mailed with your Membership Welcome Packet. If they are not included in your packet, please contact the Membership Office within 30 days of receiving your packet.

Guest passes are not tracked by CNCs membership database and we are unable to know if or when they are used. Therefore, we apologize, but we are unable to replace guest passes once they have been sent to your home.

No, however Festival admission tickets are included with Premium level memberships. These are one-time-use tickets. Family Plus members receive 4 festival admissions per year of membership and Naturalist and Conservationist members receive 12 festival admissions per year of membership. Premium level members decide how they would like to use their tickets and may decide to use them all for one festival or spread them out over all three festivals. Festival tickets expire on the date the membership expires and do not carry over when you renew your membership. All CNC members have the benefit of member festival ticket prices and/or advanced ticket sales when available.

Festival Admission tickets are included with Premium level memberships (number of tickets depends on membership level.) Tickets are mailed upon request. You may request your tickets up to one month prior to the desired festival(s). Festival tickets expire on the date the membership expires and do not carry over when you renew your membership.

Memberships are valid only for the persons whose names appear on the cards. Memberships are non-transferrable and non-refundable

Family level memberships and higher allow one adult caregiver or nanny to accompany your children in your place. The caregiver must visit with your children, must present your membership card and must have a signed letter from the member authorizing the caregiver to visit with the member children.

All or a portion of your membership contribution may be tax deductible as allowed by law. You should consult your tax preparer with specific tax questions.

All donation requests must be submitted in writing to the Membership Office at least four (4) weeks prior to the scheduled event. Requests must be on your organization’s letterhead and state the name of your organization, name and date of your event, contact person and contact information and how the donation will be used (i.e. auction, reward, etc.) Please note that CNC is only able to fulfill a limited number of donations requests each year. Receiving a donation in the past does not guarantee that your organization will receive a donation in the future. Membership Certificates are valid until the expiration date on the certificate. CNC is not obligated to honor certificates that are expired.

Membership dollars directly support CNC’s operation, and we are unable to refund Memberships. However, check with the local nature centers in the area you move to for reciprocal offers for the remainder of your CNC Membership.
