The Butterfly Festival Returns in June

The 22nd Annual Flying Colors Butterfly Festival will delight everyone as we celebrate the magic of butterflies and other important pollinators!

The Butterfly Festival is an important fundraiser event for the Chattahoochee Nature Center and we look forward to welcoming everyone to our 127 acres on June 6 and 7!

The butterfly garden and native habitat will come alive with whimsical native winged pollinators. Enjoy learning about butterflies and all things pollinators at Butterfly School with Ms. Chrysalis. Come and have fun with crafts, live entertainment, relay races, the migration game, pollinator parade, sweet treats, and activities for children of all ages!

The Butterfly Festival is the grand opening of the Butterfly Encounter. Make time to get up close and personal with live butterflies inside our Butterfly Encounter. If you’re lucky, you may have one of the winged pollinators lands on your hand or shoulder.

The Butterfly Encounter is such a magical place where adults and kids of all ages enjoy. The Butterfly Festival is where to get the first peek at the Butterfly Encounter which is open through August 6. Become a CNC member and come back throughout the summer for a new encounter each time!

Mark the dates for the Butterfly Festival and fly by the Chattahoochee Nature Center and have a butterfly encounter with live butterflies this summer.
