Animal Track Detective
Animals leave unique tracks as they travel through the natural world. Learning to identify tracks can help you study the movement patterns of wildlife and is a way to learn about an animal’s story. You will learn about tracks in the classroom, explore the CNC’s grounds looking for tracks, visit with one of CNC’s animal ambassadors who has a very unique footprint, and make a plaster animal track to take home. After this class you will know who is sneaking around CNC. Limited spaces available.
Ages 8+ (Accompanying parent/adult required for participants under 16 and admitted free); $30 general public/$20 CNC Members (price per person). Advanced Registration Required by Thursday, May 29.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be received in writing (via email) at least 6 business days prior to your program date in order to receive a full refund. We are unable to refund cancellations that are received less than 6 business days prior to your program date. We cannot accommodate late arrivals – if you miss an active program or do not attend, we are unable to refund your payment.
While every attempt is made to conduct programs, CNC may deem it necessary to cancel the program due to weather, or any conditions that would compromise the program’s quality or put persons at risk. If CNC cancels a program, you will be notified and will receive a full refund. All refunds will be returned to the original form of purchase.
CNC reserves the right to cancel a program up to the scheduled time due to any of the following:
- Imminent or local lightning or severe weather.
- Less than six persons signed up for a program.
- Any condition that would put persons at risk.
