Nature Merit Badge
Scouts will discover food webs, discuss the differences between vertebrates and invertebrates in Georgia, and learn how and why plants and animals are important to each other. CNC’s Certified Merit Badge Counselor will guide scouts outdoors in identifying a variety of Georgia plants and animals. In addition, participants will make a plaster animal track to take home!
$40 per scout; Advanced Registration Required by Thursday, September 5.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be received in writing (via email) at least 6 business days prior to your program date in order to receive a full refund. We are unable to refund cancellations that are received less than 6 business days prior to your program date. We cannot accommodate late arrivals – if you miss an active program or do not attend, we are unable to refund your payment.
While every attempt is made to conduct programs, CNC may deem it necessary to cancel the program due to weather, or any conditions that would compromise the program’s quality or put persons at risk. If CNC cancels a program, you will be notified and will receive a full refund. All refunds will be returned to the original form of purchase.
CNC reserves the right to cancel a program up to the scheduled time due to any of the following:
- Imminent or local lightning or severe weather
- Less than six persons signed up for a program.
- Any condition that would put persons at risk.
