Wildlife - Intern

Wildlife interns are high school or college students who receive class credit through their educational institution for volunteering in the department. These positions do not require a 6-month commitment and are not wait-listed. You will be contacted on a case-by-case basis to schedule an interview.

 

Wildlife interns assist in the husbandry of resident and rehabilitating wildlife. Tasks may include feeding and medicating animals, assisting with physical examinations, laundry, cage cleaning, etc.

 

Wildlife interns must be age 16 or older and have a current tetanus shot.
