Seasonal Camp

Membership Levels & Rates

Camp families are encouraged to become members of CNC!
Camp families that are members of CNC are eligible to receive a discounted member price on camp sessions. Please note: To receive the member discount, you must have a current CNC membership at the Family Level or higher at the time you purchase your camp session.

ages

Campers currently enrolled in Kindergarten – 7th grades.
Our youngest eligible campers must have turned 5 prior to September 1, 2018

hours

There is no fee for extended care.

Full Day: 9:00PM – 4:00PM

Extended Care: 8:00AM – 9:00AM & 4:00PM – 6:00PM

Make sure you complete forms (if you completed forms for seasonal camps, they will remain on file through summer sessions):

Camper Health and Safety: MANDATORY for ALL campers

Emergency Medications: only required if your child has an epipen, inhaler or other emergency medication

Camper Accommodations: only required if your child needs extra attention/care or if you would like to provide more information about your child.

Cancellation/Refunds/Changes Policy

Cancellation requests must be made by e-mail no later than 5 pm on Friday, March 15, 2019. Any cancellations before this time will result in a 35% cancellation fee. Any cancellations made after March 15, 2019 will result in no refund. Please allow 7 -10 business days for credit card refunds & 4-6 weeks for checks.

spring break camp

Session Date: April 1-5

Looking for a place to send your kids during spring break? Look no further, Camp Kingfisher offers a 5-day outdoor camp experience filled with hiking adventures, animal encounters, and outdoor play. Campers enjoy exploring the 127 acre, riverside camp, teaming with wildlife and hidden treasures. Daily schedules will get campers outside exploring spring ecology themes like “Leafy Legends” or “Wild Wetlands” Of course camp wouldn’t be camp without some of the traditional aspects including: silly songs, skits and eco-crafts. This is a GREAT way to try Camp Kingfisher out before the summer starts!

Register online, over the phone (770)992-2055 x222, or in the camp office.

Make sure you complete forms: Health and Safety,  emergency medications, and camper accommodations. (if you completed forms for seasonal camps, they will remain on file through summer sessions). 

Submit Forms via email: campforms@chattnaturecenter.org or mail: Camp Kingfisher, 9135 Willeo Road, Roswell GA 30075 (must be submitted at least two weeks before your camper’s session begins)

winter break camp

session 1: dec 27-28 session 2: jan 2-4

Winter Break Camp experiences are packed FULL of live animal encounters, outdoor games, educational hikes, HOT chocolate breaks, and sometimes cool hands-on science activities. One highlight every year is the Starlab, a mini-observatory perfectly suited for the changing seasons. The time inside the Starlab feels like a night under the stars in the mountains. FREE extended care included from 8-9am and 4-6:00pm each day.

 

Registration Opens: November 1st at 10 am

Register online, over the phone ( (770)992-2055 x222 please note: registration can take 15 to 20 minutes over the phone), or in the camp office.
