Let’s Camp! Cub Scout Adventure Campout

Join the Chattahoochee Nature Center for our Let’s Camp Cub Scout Campout on Saturday, April 18 – Sunday, April 19.

Spaces for the campout are awarded by lottery.  Scouts will complete requirements for the Let’s Camp Adventure based on their scout level, as well as learn about proper camp setup, Leave No Trace principles, knot tying and will enjoy a campfire with s’mores.  Scouts will also get to take in the sounds of nature at night on our naturalist-led guided night hike and get up close with our resident native Georgia wildlife through live animal presentations.  Scouts should provide their own ready to eat, no cooking required, dinner and camping gear.  CNC will provide other food and drinks, including evening snacks and breakfast.

CNC is honored to offer this campout opportunity to Atlanta area scouts through the use of our Will Alexander Memorial Scholarship. All units will be able to use the scholarship to receive a reduced fee.

$25 per participant (scouts & adults). Units receive 1 free adult for every 5 paid scouts. Units selected in the lottery will need to provide a $150 non-refundable deposit.

Due to the limited number of spaces, troops are selected by lottery. Please contact Mark Gialanella at m.gialanella@chattnaturecenter.org  to enter the lottery by Friday, March 13.  Please submit the following information: name, phone number, email address, mailing address, unit number, number of scouts and adults, and any special accommodations that may be needed.
