>> Admission is $12/person (children 2 & under are free); Includes all activities throughout the evening.

Experience the mystery of a guided night hike! Experience the 35th annual Halloween Hike through the forest to meet woodland creatures and hear about how they live. Take part in world music, crafts, campfire and other festival fun.

It’s the perfect non-scary alternative to traditional Halloween events and we can’t wait to see you there!


A guide will lead each group to meet costumed characters, including everyone’s favorites such as the Box Turtle, Kingfisher, and more during your 45-minute hike on a lighted trail. Come and meet a new character this year!

>> The number of people in each timed hike has been reduced to 10 to encourage social distancing.

>> Arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your hike time. Allow time for parking and entrance. Hikes will not be held for late arrivals.

>> You will receive a hike number with your ticket purchase. Hikes begin at 6PM and leave frequently. The trail guide will call your number when it is time for you to gather.

>> Center-wide policies and procedures have been implemented to offer the best experience possible. They can be viewed on the Plan Your Visit page.

>> Bring your tickets the night of the event

>> Please Carpool! There is limited parking in the CNC parking lot.

>>Events are rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, activities will be moved inside.

>> We will not be able to accommodate walk ups at the event.

>> Credit/Debit Card is needed for concessions.
