Welcome to the registration page for Camp Kingfisher. As you check current availability, please select your child’s age group using the following abbreviations.

  • OLT- Owlets (4 year olds only)
  • ESO – Eastern Screech Owls (Entering Kindergarten and grade 1 in Fall 2017, must be 5 years old)
  • BNO – Barn Owls (Entering grades 2 & 3 in Fall 2017)
  • BDO – Barred Owls (Entering grades 4 & 5 in Fall 2017)
  • GHO – Great Horned Owls (Entering grades 6 & 7 in Fall 2017)
  • TP – Travel Program (Entering grades 8 & 9 in Fall 2017)

OPTION 1: ONLINE PAYMENT AND CAMPER INFORMATION FORM [PDF]

Online registration is a 2 step process available for camp families to make an immediate, secure payment.

Step 1: Purchase your session online by clicking the green “Register Online” button below.

  • Please Note: Online registration uses abbreviations for camper’s age groups. Please check the following abbreviations to find your camper’s age group.
    • OLT- Owlets (4 year olds only)

  • Please note: The price shown online for each session will be the non-member camper rate. All members should use the coupon code MEMBER at checkout to receive your member discount. You must have a current CNC membership at the Family level or higher. Your membership must be current at your time of purchase.
  • Don’t forget to become a member of the Chattahoochee Nature Center and pay a discounted price for your camp session(s).
Step 2: Click on the link below to download a registration form. Choose a fillable pdf version (must download before filling in) or a simple pdf to print out. Submit to us by email, mail, or in person. When we receive your form, we will call you to confirm receipt. Please note that your registration is not complete until you complete this step. Please send in the registration form to our office within 10 days of making your online payment.

Membership Levels & Rates

Camp families are encouraged to become members of CNC!

Summer Camp families are eligible to purchase a discounted Family Membership for $70, between January 16-March 16. After March 17 Camp Families will be required to pay the full $90 for their membership. Member families can also register for camp at a discounted member price. You will have the opportunity to purchase your membership in the payment section. If you would like information regarding the benefits of membership please click here.

  • Please note: To receive the member discount, you must have a current CNC membership at the Family Level or higher at the time you purchase your camp session.

Payment Information for Registration by Mail

If you choose to pay for camp by credit card and register by fax or mail, we can only accept your credit card number in person or over the phone. We will hold your spaces upon receipt and will contact you. We must hear back from you within 48 hours in order to continue holding your spaces.

Registration Confirmation

Registration receipts will be sent out via email. Receipts include your session information as well at CNC’s Tax ID number. Paper receipts are available upon request.

Families registering online will need to submit one registration form per camper after completing online payment. Once we receive the registration form, we will e-mail you session confirmation. If we do not receive your registration within 10 days, your session(s) are subject to cancellation.

Waiting List

If the session you desire is full, you may choose another available session and/or go on the waiting list. In order to be on the waiting list you must submit a completed registration form. Your payment will be processed only if you secure a space at camp, and only with your verbal permission. When a space becomes available, we will contact you. You must respond within 24 hours in order to secure your place.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

***Be aware this is an updated policy***  

Camp Kingfisher strictly adheres to its Cancellation/Refund Policy.

Cancellations (any reduction in the number of sessions you have registered for) must be made by phone or email no less than 2 weeks before the first day of the session you are cancelling. Any cancellations made before April 15 will result in a 10% cancellation fee. Any session canceled after April 15 will result in a 35% cancellation fee. Cancellations made less than 2 week prior to the start date of camp sessions will result in no refund. Refunds will be issued to the original source of payment. Please allow 7 –10 days for credit card & 4-6 weeks for checks.

Changes (switching the sessions you are attending for an equal number of sessions) to your session dates must be made no less than 4 weeks before the first day of the session you are changing from. A $20 administrative fee will be charged for each change you make to your original registration.

Sick Days If illness causes a child to miss 3 or more consecutive days in 1 week you may make up the days in a later available week. All make up days must be used by the end of summer 2017. You will need to purchase days to complete a week at a prorated cost. A doctor’s note is required for makeup days.

NOTE: Refund checks take 4 – 6 weeks for processing and mailing.

SCHOLARSHIPS

Partial scholarships are available for children attending summer camp at the Chattahoochee Nature Center. Scholarships are awarded based on financial need and the camper’s potential for growth and development through a Camp Kingfisher Summer Camp experience. When awarded scholarships, the parent/guardian must pay remainder of camp tuition. On occasion, we award complete scholarships in cases of extreme hardship. Please note that scholarship funds are limited.
