At Chattahoochee Nature Center (CNC), the Bald Eagle is more than a national symbol—it’s a daily reminder of the resilience of wildlife and the importance of conservation. As one of the few remaining eagle rehabilitation centers in Georgia, CNC is proud to care for two non-releasable resident Bald Eagles, who serve as powerful ambassadors for our mission.

This summer, we are launching our “Soaring to New Heights” appeal to raise funds to rebuild our eagle viewing area —creating a safer, more enriching space for these majestic birds, and providing an improved viewing and educational experience for the thousands of visitors who come to be inspired.

Your support won’t just help us rebuild. It will also provide for the ongoing care of all our non-releasable rehabilitated animals—wildlife that, due to injury or disability, can no longer return to the wild but continue to teach and inspire our community.

With your help, we can:

  • Continue our vital work as one of Georgia’s only Bald Eagle rehabilitation centers
  • Enhance public engagement with these majestic birds through better viewing and learning opportunities
  • Provide food, veterinary care, and enrichment for our other resident wildlife ambassadors

We’ve set an ambitious goal to raise $50,000 by July 4. Your gift can help us rebuild the aviary and support a full year of care for our wildlife ambassadors.

This Independence Day, celebrate freedom by helping those who can no longer fly free—but still have so much to give.

Thank you for helping us and our eagles soar to new heights.
