Birding Photography Walk

Whether you are using a compact camera, a phone, a DSLR or the latest mirrorless camera, you still want to create good bird photographs. Professional nature photographer and master birder Eric Bowles will guide participants in this workshop, which features a short classroom session followed by an outdoor bird walk for hands-on practice and instruction. In this workshop, you’ll receive tips, suggestions, and answers to help you make better photos with your camera. We’ll talk about equipment and its limitations, exposure settings, focus, and basics of bird composition. This workshop is intended for birders and photographers of all levels who want to make better bird photos. Limited spaces available.

Ages 16+. $50 general public / $40 CNC Members. Advanced Registration Required. Register by Thursday, May 15.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be received in writing (via email) at least 6 business days prior to your program date in order to receive a full refund. We are unable to refund cancellations that are received less than 6 business days prior to your program date. We cannot accommodate late arrivals – if you miss an active program or do not attend, we are unable to refund your payment.

While every attempt is made to conduct programs, CNC may deem it necessary to cancel the program due to weather, or any conditions that would compromise the program’s quality or put persons at risk. If CNC cancels a program, you will be notified and will receive a full refund. All refunds will be returned to the original form of purchase.

CNC reserves the right to cancel a program up to the scheduled time due to any of the following:

  • Imminent or local lightning or severe weather.
  • Less than six persons signed up for a program.
  • Any condition that would put persons at risk.
