Halloween Hikes returns for its 40th year at Chattahoochee Nature Center! This milestone celebration highlights the many ways cultures around the world honor the season—from the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain to the colorful traditions of Día de los Muertos. Along the Halloween Hikes Trail, you’ll meet some of our resilient resident raptors, amphibians, and mammals that call the Chattahoochee Watershed home.
Beyond the trail, enjoy festive fun for all ages. It’s a night of nature, culture, and community you won’t want to miss!
In addition to our traditional hike, embark on The Haunted Quest—an immersive scavenger hunt set on the night of Samhain. Guide a wandering soul through the shadowed forest, solve eerie clues, and outsmart mischievous spirits with the will-o’-the-wisp as your guide. Recommended for ages 12 and up; children must be accompanied by an adult.

The Details
>> Your ticket time is your entry time to be admitted to CNC. Get a snack, play some games, and enjoy the festivities before getting in line to join a hike experience.
>> Please carpool! There is limited parking at CNC.
>> Arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your ticket time to allow for parking and entry.
>> Halloween Hikes is rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, activities will be moved inside.
>> Credit/Debit card is needed for concessions, food truck, and bar.
