It is that time of year again to go soaring through the trees and over Beaver Pond on the Screaming Eagle Aerial Adventure and zipline course at Chattahoochee Nature Center.

The weather is beginning to warm up and signs of spring all around. It is time to spread your wings and try something new by getting out on the course at CNC. In its third year at CNC, Screaming Eagle Aerial Adventures offers an unique opportunity to soar through the treetops.

The course has multiple options of participation. Make a reservation to challenge yourself on the Aerial Adventure Course, soar through the treetops on the Zipline Canopy Tour, or do both!

Megan Hallahan, Screaming Eagle Aerial Adventure Guide, says, “The Screaming Eagle is a thrilling adventure up in the trees. It is a great way to get moving outside and enjoy nature.”

The zipline allows visitors to take in nature at full speed and get a bird’s-eye view of the beautiful grounds of CNC. Not only does the experience give visitors stunning views of nature, they can challenge themselves on the adventure elements working their way around obstacles, balancing on beams, and crawling across tires all while up in the air.

The course uses a state of the art harness and belay system to make sure participant safety is the number one priority, while also creating an exciting adventure.

The course is a great option to do as a family, scout group, birthday party outing, or friends get together. Advanced reservations are highly recommended since spaces book up fast.

Choosing to do one of the adventure options or all of them is just a part of what visitors can do on their day at CNC. After spending time on Screaming Eagle Aerial Adventures, experience all that CNC offers by hiking the trails, learning about Georgia’s native wildlife, checking out the exhibits in the Discovery Center, or staying late for one of our concerts or night hikes. Visitors can make their time at CNC a day of adventure by signing up for one of our Family Canoe Days in the morning and booking the Screaming Eagle for the afternoon. Information on all these opportunities can be found on the CNC website.

From the forest floor to the tree top canopy Screaming Eagle Aerial Adventures and CNC have your time in nature covered from all levels.
